I saw the trailer for this movie "Loss of a Teardrop Diamond" the other day. It is a 1920s' period piece starring Ron Howard's daughter Bryce Dallas Howard. Apparently it was released on December 30th 2009, but I don't think I would have come across it if he hadn't pointed it out to. It is based on a re-discovered Tennessee Williams screenplay.
The movie doesn't look particularly good to me, but like many of these films the costumes will be of interest. Here are some stills, and I've included the trailer. What do you think? Worth seeing?
